A fitting birthday for dburr  !

May the person who keeps me alive have the best birthday ever...

he is due for a lot of GOOD luck in the coming year...and, of course, a lot of MEAT.





Oh and since the poor guy is helping me pay off the massive medical bills of early '09, plus some horrific new expenses like whacko insurance disasters in the $1000s...and REALLY important things (ahem.  yes, crabs, yes) like a new crab tank, the Please Send A Deserving Geek To His Mecca (Anime Expo '09 in LA) Fund is probably where he would like any generous donor who felt like giving him a bday pressie to go ;)

Lastly, I hope it's ok with Don when I say that since he has no siblings and lost his father some years ago, he misses his mom very much on his birthday. Some of you may remember she passed away last year. (and she often was the one to pay for him to go to AX in lean years.) We went to the cemetery this week and it was a very emotional visit. Anyway, I guess that leaves me as the one who can show off a baby picture, so here's a cute one :)   He was born with poor vision but never let it stop him, not even at the beginning it seems ;)

 Seems a popular time of year to be born :)  Hope each of you had great bdays and that a wonderful year is ahead of you!

 Not sure if either of you read my blog but maybe happypickle  can pass on the good wishes :)

 I haven't forgotten your birthday, and I hope you had a wonderful time at Disneyland. That's where I always wanted to go for my own birthday!  I still do, but have had to try to do that at other times of year since October has become an inferno climate-wise here lately.  (((hugs)))
